One of our last weeks in London and it is so hard to believe that it is all coming to an end. We have so much enjoyed our time here and most of all having all this time with the students. Getting to know each one has been great.
I spent one day just getting caught up on stuff and Becky took off to do more exploring after having coffee with one of the students. Becky is on a mission to get a bunch of little places in that she has heard about. I met up with her later and we had dinner at a little fish & chip place down by Embankment where she spent her later afternoon sitting in the Uber Boat Cafe. She sat and read and watched the boats go by.
The next day I had my class, and we talked about computer security. We took time and updated everyone’s laptops as they were all not updated. Then we walked through getting everyone to use a password manager. If you don’t have one, please do. Bitwarden is a good one, https://bitwarden.com. After class I had to make a decision to either do my taxes or put in for an extension. Since it was April 15, I could delay no longer. I jumped in and just did them. I am fairly confident they are correct, but hey I sent them in. I did not have all my files, but most of them I could get online. We got a small refund, so yea!
The entire house then headed out back to a place Tom took us on our first whole house adventure, Flight Club in Victoria. It is a pub that does darts. It was a great team building experience in January and it was a fun last event here in April. Of course, we now all know each other very well and so we had some great laughs. We spent two hours throwing darts and having fun. It is amazing how far all these relationships have come in these short months.
